In today's lesson i managed to finish off all of my research tasks but 1, i am planning to finish this after school. I also finished off 2 of my planning so i only have 3 more to finish now, i am planning to stay after school today.

15th December 2013

Today me and my actress went up London to film for the rest of my music video. We were planning to go up to the Emirates cable car but we worked out it would cost too much money so i changed the locations on which we were going to film in.
Firstly we went to Tower Bridge to find out whether or not we were allowed to film there, we went to the information office to find out that you have to pay a fee, this ended up with us filming on the embankment with it in the background.
I also wanted to film at Trafalgar Square with the fountains in the background, when we arrived we found if we were allowed to film and we could as we were students, i filmed a few shots there until it started to rain, this interrupted my filming as i couldn't film any longer otherwise the camera would get wet.I didn't manage to get all of my footage.

Thursday 12th December 2013

In today's lesson i am planning to continue with my blog work as i am waiting to film on Sunday with my actress up London. I am also going to plan what i want to film while up London so i know where i need to go and what parts of my music video i am going to film there. This may take some time but i am willing to give up my time for is it as it will help me in the long run.

Alterations made along the way.

 Alterations that i have made along the way that i have made to my music video is not using clips that i have previously filmed as they are blurry or i have had my actress wear the wrong clothes on green screen. I have changed these as i wouldn't of been able to cut out my green screen properly as the top i had her wearing was green. Other alterations that i have made are ideas of what i am going to do within my music video, firstly i was planning on throwing a party but then realised that it would of taken too much time and organisation that i didn't have.
When filming outside i also had to make changes to the way i was filming because it was very difficult to get the lights in the right place for you to be able to see my actress dancing. The way i changed it was making the group of people who were standing behind her smaller and bring them closer to the camera, it didn't have the same effect as i wanted it to but it still worked well.

Wednesday 11th December

In today's lesson i have been on the phone to transport to London to make sure that i am allowed to film on the Emirates cable car for my music video. It took me a while to get through the right place as it wasn't very clear to where i needed to call but eventually i managed to get through to find out that i am allowed to film there. I am planning on filming this Sunday. I hope to get the shots that i need and will make my music video look good.

 Here is some raw footage of what i have done in green screen. I have done a lot of green screen to make sure that i have all the footage i need. It is always better to have to much footage then not enough as that means that i will be late filming and it will all be rushed. I am not planning on using all of this but i have planed to cut the bits that i am planning to use.

14th November 2013

In today's lesson i accidentally deleted the start of my digipak, meaning that i  have to start all over again. This is annoying because i will be more rushed but because i know what i am doing hopefully it wont take as much time.

                 Here i am researching in how to curl my actresses hair as this is look i'm going for and i wasn't to sure how to do it. The purpose of this video is to show that i had to put effort in to get the look that i was planning on looking for. I am planning on doing this style for parts of my music video and my digipak images.

In today's lesson i finished my first bit of editing for my music, it has taken me a while but this is has given me a chance to be able to time my editing well as i will need a lot of time to do so.

In today's lesson i am booking my a slot to take the camera out for the half term as i am planning on filmingin half term, once i have filmed in half term this means that i have done most of my filming and i will be able to start editing and putting my music video together. Also today i am doing some of research taskss so that i have less to do in the upcoming weeks.

Today i am planning on continuing with my planning tasks so that i can complete them and start to focus on my filming and editing of all my footage. I hope to at least complete 2 tasks today.

Today i arranged for my model to come in to school so we could start filiming green screen, while she was here i manged to film the whole song in close ups, mid-shots and long shots. This allows me to have a range of different shots wihin in my music video and allows me to have a selection of choice to when putting all my filming together. When she arrived i done her makeup and left her hair curly so when i next film it will allow me to have more time to do her hair, she brought a range of outfits so it wasn't the same outfit throughout.

Today i am planning to complete half of my research tasks, they were set for us to do over the summer for when we get back to school. I am aiming to complete these for Tuesday the 3rd September.

I also admire this music video blurred lines because i like the way that they are singing into the camera very simply. Within my music video i want to have a range of narrative performance and singing into the camera.

Here i am presenting my pitch to my class to show them my ideas and what i am planning to do within my music video, they gave me feedback and asked my how i am going to do certain things that they were not sure about.

In this music video I am going to start my music video with something like this will set the scene and gradually make there way into the party. With this shot of Katy perry standing on the table with the party behind her, I want to re-create this within my garden with fairy lights going around my fence and all my friends in a group behind my main character with sparklers dancing around having fun for my main chorus.

 In my mood board above i have chosen these particular pictures because these are props/camera shots that i am going to include in my music video. I have the red cups in the top right hand corner because these are ironic to a American party, which the theme to my music video is an American themed, i have also added images of how i want my main actor to look and what clothes that i wish for her to wear. The setting of my music video has been included because i want my audience to know what i want my music video to look like in the end.

In today's i produced my pitch for my music video to the class, this allowed me to express my ideas to the class on what i wanted to include in my music video and how i was going to carry out my ideas. It also allowed the class to feedback and tell me how i can improve my ideas.
